1-bioglutide — Novel GLP-4 Quadruple Agonist for Metabolic Research
1-bioglutide (also known as NA-931 or Bioglutide, developed by Biomed Industries) is a novel investigational multi-agonist peptide, informally described as a “GLP-4” quadruple agonist. It is a clinical-stage compound not broadly available through established peptide channels, of research interest for layering incretin and anabolic signaling in a single molecule.
Mechanism of Action
Unlike single, dual, or triple incretin agonists, 1-bioglutide is reported to engage four targets simultaneously: the GLP-1 receptor, the GIP receptor, the glucagon receptor (GCGR), and — distinctively — the IGF-1 receptor. The incretin arms are studied for appetite suppression and glucose-dependent insulin response, while the IGF-1 receptor arm is of particular interest for countering the lean-mass loss associated with pure GLP-1 agonists.

Reconstitution: Reconstitute with Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) for multi-use stability, or Sterile Water for single-use protocols. Store lyophilized vials refrigerated at 2–8°C, protected from light.
Key Research Areas
⚡ Weight-Regulation Research
GLP-1-driven hypothalamic satiety signaling and appetite suppression are studied for body-weight regulation.
⚡ Glycemic Research
GIP-enhanced glucose-dependent insulin response is investigated in metabolic models.
🔥 Lean-Mass Preservation
The IGF-1 receptor arm is studied for maintaining lean mass alongside fat reduction — a differentiator from single GLP-1 agonists.
🩸 Subcutaneous Delivery
Supplied as a lyophilized powder for reconstitution with bacteriostatic or sterile water and subcutaneous administration in research models — the same delivery route used for established GLP-1 and multi-agonist research peptides. This is an injectable research compound, not an oral formulation.
